Grain Mineral Testing
APAL can analyse the mineral content of your grain samples to test the nutritional value of your grain. As well as determining nutritional value for your grain sample, APAL testing also allows for an estimate of nutrient removals for that particular crop. Analysing the mineral content of grain can also assist you with determining the minerals available to your animals consuming this grain diet. This will be based on your animals' requirements and the mineral concentration in your grain.

Why test?

Grain Mineral Testing is valuable for:

  • Determining on-farm specific nutrient removal rates
  • Determining the nutritional value of grain
  • Providing a guide to animal health
  • Ensuring grain meets standards
